SMPA students gathered to eagerly await the Launch of NASA’s Dragon Capsule rocket on Wednesday, October 5th.
Through a partnership with the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport Museum, and Students To Launch, our students have been participating in a combination of classroom, hands-on, and virtual sessions to learn about science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Commander Josh led our 7th and 8th grade students in a rocket building and launch experiment.
Each Monday Quinnipiac Medical Students visit SMPA with fresh ingredients to work with SMPA students to create delicious meals.

Saint Martin de Porres Academy participated All School Reads, a school-wide reading competition to inspire children to read for enjoyment. Grades 5-8 and the faculty challenged one another to see who could read the most books over the course of a month.
