SMPA graduate Jason Gill, Class of 2022, is currently a senior at Morehouse College. Jason is an Oprah Winfrey Scholar. We are very proud of Jason, who has been on the Dean’s list every semester, is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, tutors at a middle school and mentors high school students.
The Oprah Winfrey Endowed Scholarship Program is for students who demonstrate both academic merit, commitment to service, and financial need. To be eligible for selection as an Oprah Winfrey Scholar, students must have:
- A minimum High School GPA of 3.2 or 3.0 Morehouse College GPA
- A combined SAT of 1200 or ACT of 26
- A demonstrated commitment to service, and
- An EFC (expected family contribution) of $5,000 or less.
