We are a tuition-free middle school for low income boys and girls in the Greater New Haven area. We are rooted in the Catholic tradition and a part of the Nativity Network (www.nativitymiguelschools.org) Our school is searching for young people who are committed to sharing their energy and talent with our middle schoolers.

What Will You Do?
Volunteers will work as teachers, tutors, coaches, proctors, chaperones, maybe even cooks. You will be a role model for our young people as they mature. You can be that special person who changes a kid's direction.

Do You Qualify?
We are looking for college graduates who love kids, have unlimited energy, a sense of fun, and are willing to work long hours as a role model for middle school students. You do not need education coursework to qualify.

What do you get?
Interns will be paid $11,400 annually + benefits. You will be part of the Americorps education grants program and receive a grant of $4,725 toward college loans or continued education. You will also receive housing.

Where is New Haven, CT???
New Haven is the home of Yale University. It is an easy train commute to New York City and only three hours to Boston.
